Waiting for My Real Life to Begin

The life and times of a girl named Swishy.

I may suck at life ...

... but at least I have good teeth!

I went to the dentist today for my overdue six-month cleaning. (Yes, a few years ago I became a responsible adult--lack of appropriate knives notwithstanding--and started going to the dentist every six months like I'm supposed to. I have yet to apply such diligence to my gynecological visits. Or any other doctor visits, for that matter.)

Anyway. I went to the dentist, and after doing his final look-over this is what he told me:

"People should aspire to have your teeth."

Ha! I haven't stopped laughing about that all day. I feel like that's the sort of thing that should go on my tombstone: "People aspired to have her teeth."

So when you floss, kids, think of Swishy.

Yet one more thing to make me covet your life. Knife lack not withstanding. How can you be a decent lesbian serial killer if you have no good knives?

Yay, you have nice teeth. Now get to your other doctors visits so your body stays nice, too;))

Okay, it's the mother in me. What can I say. He healthy.

"People should aspire to have your teeth" - That's high praise!

Just think what your gynocologist might say!!!

Wow, Swishy...you're my hero. I only go to the dentist when I absolutely have to. "People should aspire to have your teeth" that's high praise!

Which begs the question, what might your gynocologist say??? :)

LOL. No kidding on the lesbian serial killer thing. Manic actually joked about hiding the knives and I was like, "Oh, I use my own" ... obviously they would have been less than effective!

HAHAHAHAHA. What a thought ... the gynecologist saying, "Wow. People should aspire to have your ..." I don't know what the right word is there. Somehow I can't see the gyno using the same words I'd use :)

I would rather have dull knives and good teeth than a set of brand new Ginsu's and a mouth full of bad teeth.

No question.

Ha, speaking of the gyne... once I went to the dentist and the chair was all the way back and the dentist came in and I said, "Oh, I hear we live in the same neighborhood." He said, "Well, if we run into each other and I don't recognize you, don't be offended because I see a lot of people. I told him, "Oh, that's okay, my gyne says the same thing!"
